Yo Joe! 👊🏽

Commentaar met 5/5 sterren

Awesome collection

The book is super simple and right to the point. When you open the cover, the first 2 file cards are on page one and it has 2 per page all the way through. Absolutely worth the money.

Is this legal? It's definitely sloppy.

This is a super-bare bones DIY style book. You get the file cards organized by year and within each year, arranged Z-A reverse alphabetically. 2 per page (some pages with just one), slightly larger than actual size. That's it; no commentary; absolutely nothing else-- not even a title page. Well let's break this down into pros and cons: PROS: It's convenient to have all the file cards in one volume. It has some variants of the cards, like mail order Duke and retail release Duke. Street Fighter characters are included too. CONS: Is this even legal? Printing leaves a lot to be desired-- bright pink filecards can barely be read. Paper quality feels like home printer paper. Some variants not included, like the Destro card with Cobra logo, one of the Major Bludd variants, and the replacement 1984 Zartan card with "schizophrenic" removed. Worst of all, a lot of these cards are in poor shape-- ripped and taped up. I appreciate that they didn't just steal good images from the net, but that might've been preferable to putting terrible condition cards in a book. And the Z-A order is annoying. And of course the book only covers the original run, as stated in the title. So you make the choice-- do you need this in your collection?
