Op de Facebook pagina van 3D Joes werd verwezen naar een e-Bay veiling van een G.I. Joe Electronic Command Center uit 1984. Ik vind dat altijd leuk om te zien, van die oude items die geheel niets met het speelgoed, de tekenfilms of de strips te maken hebben. Het zijn gewoon reguliere speelgoed items waar een paar veranderingen bij zijn aangebracht en een G.I. Joe "sticker" op is geplakt. Gezien de commercie gebeurde dat veel in die tijd, en dat bracht some leuke verrassingen met zich mee.
Het bijzonder van dit item is een pratende Snake Eyes! In de handleiding is te zien dat hij de andere Joes toespreekt, wat waarschijnlijk de eerste keer is dat hij spreekt en het is opmerkelijk te noemen dat Hasbro dit goedgekeurd heeft... Nu werd Zartan ook in 1984 verkocht, dus wordt er in de reacties op Facebook gesuggereerd dat dit wel eens een ultieme truck van deze meester der vermomming zou kunnen zijn! 😂

This is a Hasbro G.I. Joe Cobra Electronics Command Center Playset by Natural Science Industries Ltd. from 1984. It is still in the original box, and appears to have all the pieces and manuals. Top colored photo box is in good shape for being 35+ years old, and bottom brown box does have some wear and tear.
